&lt;p&gt;The raffle was drawn at the TYC committee meeting last evening and the lucky winner is Amanda Watkins -a very keen and dedicated yogi. Congratulations Amanda.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We raised approximately $500 for the Nightshelter &amp;nbsp;and I have delivered 5 boxes of food to them in all. They are absolutely delighted with this &amp;amp; asked me to pass on their thanks and appreciation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier this year we made a $1500 donation to &amp;nbsp;Te Whare Putea Heartlands Trust Kaikoura--after the devastating earthquake caused massive destruction there. &amp;nbsp;Just recenly I heard back from the manager there with an update on how they have used some of this donation to date; &amp;nbsp;'&lt;span style=&quot;font-size: 14.6667px;&quot;&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;color: #666699;&quot;&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;An older couple who were quite badly affected by the earthquake received 2 sessions each of therapeutic massage, we&amp;rsquo;ve done 2 Gym memberships for young mums, 2 seasons for 2 sisters at Girl Guides and have bought 2 tubes of a special skin cream for a little girl with a bad skin condition, parents are struggling to afford the extra expense -we will probably buy more next month.&quot;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
